Tom Bradbury - BSc (Hons), MAusIMM
Managing Director, Tom Bradbury has over 25 years’ experience in the coal industry, primarily in the planning and management of coal exploration programs, as well as 3D modelling, prospectivity evaluations and public reporting of both JORC classified coal resources and fugitive emissions. Tom spent 10 years in the Resource modelling division of the NSW Coal Compensation Board and in this role completed a substantial number of complex resource models.  Tom has supervised drilling in a Cu-Pb-Zn mineralisation and has extensive experience in organising and managing drilling operations, including coal seam gas desorption work and fugitive emissions estimation (Estimator competency).  Tom is a JORC Code 2012 Competent Person for coal resource estimation and is presently managing the coal team and business development.  He is also a VALMIN Code 2015 Specialist.

Tom is a Member of the AusIMM (Australasian Institute of Mining & Metallurgy) and has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree from the University of Sydney.

 
   

Murray Hutton - BA (Hons), MAIG
Principal Consultant / Director, Murray Hutton has over 35 years' experience in the minerals industry, primarily in management of exploration programs for gold and base metals but he also has experience in coal, lithium brines and oil shale projects.  He has worked throughout Australia, South West Pacific (PNG, Fiji), Asia (Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Mongolia), South America (Argentina, Peru), Africa (Mali) and Europe (Sweden, Estonia).  Murray has strong analytical skills and capabilities in 3D modelling and mineral resource estimations.  He is a Competent Person under the JORC Code 2012 for gold and a variety of metals and other commodities.  Murray is a VALMIN Code 2015 Specialist and is proficient in meeting regulatory standards for technical reporting and stock exchange announcements.

Murray is a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists and has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Geology from Macquarie University.

Jeff Randell - BSc (Hons), RPGeo, MAIG
Senior Consultant (Gold, Base Metals, Tenements Management and Corporate). Jeff Randell is a geologist with more than 35 years’ experience in the mining and exploration industry. He has worked throughout Australia on numerous gold and base metal projects for a variety of companies and is a Competent Person (JORC, 2012) in gold, base metals and bauxite. Jeff is also a VALMIN Code 2015 Specialist.  He manages tenement / agreement compliance for clients and work health and safety as well as other corporate functions for Geos Mining. Jeff has strong analytical skills and commercial awareness coupled with a professional ethic that ensures accuracy and timeliness in fulfilling corporate and legislative requirements.

Jeff is a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (MAIG) and a Registered Professional Geoscientist (RPGeo).  He has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree from Flinders University.

 


   
Sue Border - BSc., Grad. Dip., FAusIMM, FAIG

Principal Advisor. Sue Border has over 30 years experience in the minerals industry. Sue specialises in project management and resources/reserve estimation. Her broad experience includes periods as a mine geologist, consultant, academic and exploration manager before starting Geos Mining. Sue has experience in a wide range of industrial minerals, with specialist knowledge of feldspar, kaolin, silica and garnet as well as other commodities. She has carried out research in geostatistics and mine quality control.  Sue is a JORC Code 2012 Competent Person for industrial minerals and metals and is a VALMIN Code 2015 Specialist.


Sue is a Fellow of both AusIMM (Australasian Institute of Mining & Metallurgy), and AIG (Australian Institute of Geoscientists). Sue has a BSc. (Hons) Imperial College, London and Grad Dip (Industrial Minerals Science) UTS.


Llyle Sawyer - B.App.Sc., M.App.Sc., MAIG
Senior Consultant (Uranium & Strategic Metals), Llyle Sawyer has extensive exploration knowledge in uranium, gold and base metals.  He presently manages the Uranium and Strategic Metals Group in Geos Mining and has strong organisational skills as well as considerable expertise in the management of field programs and safety policies.  Llyle has strong environmental qualifications with particular skills in open cut gold mining and in environmental and native title negotiations.  He is a JORC Code 2012 Competent Person for uranium, gold and base metals and is a VALMIN Code 2015 Specialist.

Llyle is a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (MAIG) and has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Geology from University of Technology, Sydney and a Masters of Applied Science in Engineering, Hydrogeology and Environmental Geology from University of New South Wales.

 

 
   
Helen Ray -  BSc. (Hons), M.App.Sc., MAIG
Senior Consultant (Industrial Minerals), Helen Ray is a Permits & Quarry Specialist with extensive experience in industrial minerals, dimension stone, construction materials, land use planning, GIS and database management. Helen has many years’ experience in both the public and private sector.  She is a JORC Code 2012 Competent Person in dimension stone.

Helen is a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists, Geological Society of Australia and Australian Stone Advisory Association.

 
 
   
Andrew Todd - BSc, MSc., MAusIMM
Senior Consultant (Coal), Andrew Todd has a Master’s Degree in Earth Sciences from the University of Waikato, New Zealand, and over 20 years coal geology experience in NZ, Indonesia, Queensland and NSW, in a variety of disciplines from exploration management, resource evaluation, open cut mining and consulting.  This includes 8 years open cut operations experience in pit operations and coal quality control for coking/thermal coal mines in the Bowen Basin, Queensland.  He has a background of skills in GIS mapping, 3D modelling, groundwater investigations, and community engagement.  Andrew is a JORC Code 2012 Competent Person in coal and is a VALMIN Code 2015 Specialist.

Andrew is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and has both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Earth Sciences from the University of Waikato, New Zealand.

   
Oliver Willetts - BSc., MSC., MAusIMM
Senior Consultant (Resource Estimation and Geostatistics), Oliver (Olly) Willetts has developed skills in the integration of geological and mining data into complex project databases, GIS and 3D modelling software packages.  He has a strong geostatistical background and specialises in resource estimations of metals, minerals and coal deposits.  Olly's 3D modelling skills have been recognised by Micromine, who have utilised him in their beta programs and developer network.  Olly is a JORC Code 2012 Competent Person in mineral resource estimations for gold, phosphate and coal.

Olly is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and has both a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and a Master of Science degree in Geophysical Hazards from University College, London.

 

Alison Cole - BSc., MSc., MAIG
Senior Consultant (Industrial Minerals), Alison Cole joined Geos Mining after a long period of work in the academic arena, where she lectured in fossils and palaeoceanography, was a curator and laboratory technician as well University bookshop assistant manager.  Alison has developed strong skills in the assessment of minerals sands projects and construction materials.  Alison is a JORC Code 2012 Competent Person for reporting on exploration results for mineral sands and industrial minerals.

Alison is a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists and has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree from University of New South Wales and a Master of Science degree from Sydney University.
